Y Felin and The Pandy
Y Felin was the original village mill serving the parish. It was used concurrently as both a
corn mill and a woollen mill during the pre-industrial period.
Just down the road towards the village is The Pandy. This was a fulling mill where they treated
wool prior to it being woven. The name Pandy comes from the Latin 'pannus' meaning cloth. The stream next to
the building could often be seen running with different colours due to the dyes used in the wool making process.
